Securing Your Legacy
Many New Yorkers lack access to the knowledge, resources, and confidence needed to effectively plan for their financial future. Estate planning, insurance, and investment are critical tools for building, protecting, and preserving wealth, yet:
- Estate Planning:
A significant portion of New Yorkers do not have wills, trusts, or other estate planning documents in place, leaving families vulnerable to probate, legal complications, and loss of assets. - Insurance:
Many individuals and families are underinsured or unaware of how insurance can provide financial security and liquidity beyond immediate needs, such as burial costs, resulting in gaps in protection and risk exposure. - Investment:
Barriers such as limited financial literacy, lack of exposure, and misconceptions about investing prevent New Yorkers from leveraging investment strategies to grow and sustain wealth over time.
These challenges are compounded by cultural stigma, lack of normalized conversations about legacy and wealth, and disparities in access to trusted information and professional guidance. As a result, too many New Yorkers miss opportunities to build generational wealth, protect their assets, and ensure financial security for themselves and their loved ones.
